Do I need an account?
No. Your drawer is created the moment you save something and lives in this browser. Add an email from your drawer to keep it across devices and to hear when a letter you sealed is opened.
How does a sealed letter work?
When you seal a letter you get a private link. Send it however you like — text, email, DM. Whoever opens the link sees a sealed envelope and a countdown until the day you picked; then they can break the seal and read it. They can write back, and if your drawer has an email, we'll tell you.
Can the person tell it's from me?
Only if you tell them — by signing it, or by who sends them the link. We never show your name or email to anyone.
I lost the link to a letter I sealed.
Open your drawer and tap Copy link. If you wrote it on another device, sign in there first — or add an email to that device's drawer so everything stays together.
Can I take a letter back?
Yes. In your drawer, Take it back makes a sealed link stop working, and Take it down removes a wall letter. Someone who already read or copied it will still have seen it.
What happens when I let a letter go?
It burns on your screen and the text is never sent to us. Your drawer only notes that you let a letter to that name go.
I forgot my password.
Use Forgot password and we'll email you a reset link that works once, for an hour.
How do I download or delete my letters?
Go to Settings. You can download everything as a file, or delete your whole drawer and account permanently.
Someone sent me a letter that's hurtful or threatening.
Use Report this letter under it. Links that are reported by several people stop working automatically, and we review reports sent to the “Report” link on any letter. If you feel unsafe, contact local emergency services.
